So I recently upgraded my laptop's hardware and installed a new version of Windows to deal with some performance issues. However, today I accidentally opened the BIOS and, while trying to exit, I clicked 'discard changes'. Now my laptop is booting up with the older version, which is much slower than what I was using! I'm really lost and could use some help to restore the new setup. What should I do?

When you choose 'discard changes' in the BIOS, it's like telling the system to go back to its previous settings. Don't worry! You can still fix this. Re-enter the BIOS and navigate to the BOOT menu. Make sure your new drive is selected as the first boot device so that it starts using the most recent setup.
