Hey everyone, I accidentally uninstalled my product key when I was trying to activate Windows, which mysteriously got deactivated. Now, I'm stuck and unsure of what to do next! I did get a backup key, but it's not working either. Any advice?

You might want to reach out to Microsoft support. If you have proof of purchase, they could help you re-activate your key or explain why it got deactivated in the first place. Also, some users say they’ve had luck with alternative methods, but just be cautious with those.

Just to clarify, I’ve heard that you can use old Windows 7 keys for Windows 11 activation, but I thought Microsoft closed that loophole. It’s worth a shot if you have access to a Windows 7 key!

Yeah, but I think Microsoft really pushed to disable those keys a while back just to get people to buy new ones.
