I'm having trouble entering the BIOS on my computer. Windows boots up perfectly fine, but whenever I try to access the BIOS or the Windows recovery menu (using shift + restart), my screen goes black and my monitor shows no signal. I've even tried connecting a different monitor and removed the CMOS battery for 5-10 minutes, but that hasn't resolved the issue. Any ideas on what to do?

That's really frustrating! If you're trying to hit delete and it still gives you a black screen, there might be an underlying hardware issue.
You need to find out which key is required for your motherboard and hit it repeatedly as you power up. Common keys are F1, F2, F10, F12, and Delete. Just make sure you're really quick with it!
It would really help if you could specify the device you're trying to access the BIOS on. Knowing the make and model can give some insight into what might be going wrong.
Have you tried spamming the F11 key as your computer boots? Sometimes that's the trick to get into the BIOS.
If Windows is starting properly, you can try accessing the BIOS settings through Windows. Go to Settings > System > Recovery > Advanced Startup > Troubleshoot > Advanced Options > UEFI/BIOS Firmware Settings. Also, make sure your monitor cable is plugged into the motherboard, not the GPU.

When I try pressing other keys apart from delete, Windows just loads up as usual.
