I'm in a tough spot after accidentally falling for a phishing scam. My OneDrive got signed out and replaced with a different account on Windows 11, but I can't find a way to remove that bad account. I reached out to tech support, and they advised me to bring my device into a help desk, but that's a full hour away, and I'd rather avoid the trip if possible. Any suggestions on what I can do? Thanks!

Unfortunately, if you're really stuck and tech support is your only option, they might be the best bet. Verification can be a hassle, but Microsoft usually has procedures to get accounts back in your control. It's annoying to drive there, but it might be worth it in the long run.
You should definitely try checking your account settings again. Sometimes, there might be a hidden option to remove an account that you might have missed. If that doesn't work, consider resetting your OneDrive settings, which could kick it back to normal without needing to travel. Just make sure your data is backed up before making changes!
I had a similar issue before! I used the OneDrive app to unlink the account, and then it allowed me to sign in with the correct one. You might want to give that a shot!

I get that the drive is a pain, but if you've got important files, it might be the safest route. Just make sure you make an appointment if you can!
