I was trying to bypass Microsoft Family Safety on my HP laptop and came across a tip that suggested changing the system year to 2089 to remove the time limit. Unfortunately, that didn't work out, and now I can't change it back. When I try to adjust the date in the BIOS and save it, it just restarts without keeping the changes. I'm really worried about my parents finding out. What can I do to fix this? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

You should try changing the date again in the BIOS. Sometimes, if the settings don’t save, it could be due to powering down the laptop incorrectly. Make sure you properly save and exit the BIOS after making changes. Double-check that you've set the date correctly and look for an option that says 'Save and Exit'.
I did that too, but it still just restarts without saving the changes. Got any other ideas?
