Yesterday, I accidentally spilled half a cup of pineapple juice on my MacBook Air—thankfully, it wasn't on the screen. I tried to clean it up with alcohol wipes and just let it dry upside down for a while. I checked the keyboard and it seems to be working, but the trackpad is stuck and isn't functioning at all. I'm really worried about it and could use some advice on what to do next. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

First off, if you have AppleCare+, I'd recommend taking it to them right away. They know how to handle these situations and can give you the best advice for repair or replacement.
You should probably avoid turning it on for a bit longer. Let it dry in a cool, ventilated place for at least a week. You might be able to try powering it back on later, but keep in mind that any stickiness from the sugar could still mess with it. Make sure you back up any important data just in case!
Is going to AppleCare a good option?
