Help! I Switched GPUs and Now My PC Won’t Display Anything

I recently upgraded to a 2070 Super GPU, but when I booted up my PC, everything seemed to power on, including the GPU fans and lights. However, my monitor showed a message saying 'HDMI no signal' right after the boot sound, and then it went black and stayed that way. After realizing my PSU was only 550W, I switched back to my 1650 Super, but I'm still facing the same issue. I'm worried I might have shorted something. Before switching, I uninstalled all previous GPU drivers using DDU and also tried power cycling, taking out the RAM, and removing the CMOS battery, then reinstalling it. The issue persists, and I even tested my HDMI cable on a different monitor. What could be wrong?

Did you accidentally plug the monitor cable into the motherboard instead of the GPU? Make sure everything is connected properly; check all power connectors on the GPU, and ensure it's seated in the PCIe x16 slot correctly. Also, try different ports on the graphics card.

Have you tried a different HDMI cable? Sometimes that's the easiest fix. If you haven't, it could be a good idea to check.

I did try a different HDMI cable but still no luck. I'm starting to wonder if I might have fried the motherboard.
