Hey folks, I could really use some help because I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed. I'm running a setup with three monitors and have been dealing with some frustrating issues. My main gaming monitor occasionally freezes or flickers, and sometimes even goes completely black, forcing me to restart my PC to get it back. While gaming, I also notice random FPS drops, which I manage to fix temporarily by hitting alt+tab, but I'm already using borderless window mode, not fullscreen, so that shouldn't be necessary. All three of my monitors are set to 144Hz, but they aren't the same resolution. Here are the details of my monitors and PC specs:
**Monitors:**
- 34" Xiaomi Mi Curved Gaming Monitor 2020
- 27" AOC 27B36X
- 27" AOC Q27G4XF Gaming (used vertically; this one has fewer issues)
**PC Specs:**
- Motherboard: GIGABYTE B650 EAGLE
- Processor: AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D (8-Core, 4201 MHz)
- Graphics Card: AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT
- Storage: 2TB SSD WD Blue SN580
- Power Supply: FSP Fortron VITA GM 1000W
- BIOS: Up to date (F36d, Sept 18, 2025)
- Drivers: AMD Adrenaline Software updated (Version 26.2.2, Feb 17, 2026)
- RAM: 32GB
- OS: Windows 11 PRO 25H2
All monitors are set to 144Hz and Auto HDR is off on all three. I'm really hoping someone here might know how to solve these issues before I lose my sanity!

It sounds frustrating! First thing I'd suggest is checking your DisplayPort or HDMI cables; a faulty cable can definitely cause flickering and connection issues. Also, monitor your GPU temperatures. If your GPU is overheating, it could lead to those performance problems you're experiencing. You mentioned it hits around 85°C while gaming, which could be considered a bit high, especially under load. Keeping it cooler could improve stability.
I feel your pain! If replacing cables doesn’t help, consider running some stress tests on your GPU to see if there are stability issues. Also, make sure your graphics drivers are fully up to date. Sometimes clean installs of the drivers can fix weird issues like the ones you're facing. Lastly, make sure your monitors are all connected properly—could be a loose connection causing those blackouts.
