I recently noticed that both of my screens have developed dead pixels, which seems really strange. I'm guessing it might be an issue with my graphics card, a GeForce RTX 4060 Ti, but I'm not entirely sure. I've got the latest Game Ready Drivers installed. The problem started while I was playing a game; suddenly, the screen went almost completely white. Although my desktop looks fine, every time I open an app, those dead pixels appear. I'm kind of confused about whether this is a hardware or software issue, or maybe something to do with Windows. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!

When you mention dead pixels, are they like stuck pixels or more like flickering artifacts? It’s important to clarify that. From what you described, it seems like they only show up when you launch an app. This might indicate a graphics card issue or possibly a driver conflict. Have you tried rolling back to a previous driver version just to see if that helps? You might also want to check the monitor's settings or cables to rule those out.
Sounds frustrating! Since you've already run the dead pixel test and nothing showed up, I would lean towards a software glitch rather than a hardware problem, especially since you can use the desktop fine. It might help to reinstall the graphics drivers cleanly to eliminate any potential corruption. If all else fails, try connecting a different monitor to see if the issue persists there. That way, you can determine if it's your card or just the displays themselves.
I appreciate the suggestions! I’ll definitely look into rolling back the drivers and checking the cables. The pixels only appear in apps, and they flicker a bit when the screen changes.
