Hey folks! I just got my hands on a new RTX 5070 Ti, but I'm facing a bit of a hiccup. After installation, I'm not seeing any signal on my monitors, and the GPU fans aren't spinning at all. Here's what I've done:

- Installed the 5070 Ti with the included 12-pin adapter.
- Swapped out my old RTX 3060 OC.
- Used a 6+2 PCIe cable from the 3060 setup and plugged it into one of the adapter's 8-pin ports.
- I also connected a spare 6+2 PCIe cable directly from my PSU into the adapter's second 8-pin port.
- Upon booting, the GPU fans don't spin, and any DisplayPort connection shows a "No signal detected" error.
- Everything else, like the RGB fans and motherboard, powers on fine.
- I even tried reseating the GPU, and it seems just as fine as the 3060 did when it worked.

I'm wondering if this could be a power delivery problem and if I should start from scratch on the wiring. Has anyone else experienced this, or do you think the GPU might be dead on arrival?

It sounds like you might need more power connections. The adapter requires three 8-pin PCI-E cables, not just two. If you're using only two, that could be why nothing's powering up. You might want to look into getting a new 1K watt PSU with a native 12VHPWR connection to avoid any issues.

Oh wow, I didn’t realize it needed three. I guess I'll consider upgrading my PSU to a more modern one. Thanks for pointing that out!

First things first, make sure your monitor is set to the right input. Sometimes they default to a different one. Check if it's on DisplayPort input or set to auto.
