Hey everyone! I'm completely new to PCs and I'm looking to build an affordable rig that can run The Sims 4 smoothly with mods and custom content. Ideally, I'd like to keep my budget between £300 to £600. I know PCs can get pretty pricey, but I'm just after the essentials for now. I'm based in the UK, and I don't have any spare parts, but I'm open to using used or refurbished parts if it helps cut costs while still boosting performance. I have a bit of a preference for pink or white builds, but if that can't be done within my budget, I'm flexible! Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

You might want to try getting some used parts from places like Jawa. It’s a great way to save money while still upgrading performance. Just make sure to check the condition of the components before buying!

Is Jawa a good site for UK users?

For £600, you can build a solid setup with a Ryzen 5 5600 and a Radeon 9060 XT with 16GB of RAM. Check out this build I've put together: [link to parts list]. If you're willing to stretch your budget to £700, I have another build that includes some really nice upgrades with a sleek white aesthetic!
