I'm considering building a PC specifically for playing Borderlands 4, but I have limited experience with PC building. I've done some research and put together a parts list. Before I go ahead, I want to make sure all these components will work well together and are good choices overall. My goal is to run the game smoothly without going overboard on the budget. Here's what I've picked out: 1. AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D CPU 2. AMD Radeon RX 9070 Challenger Triple Fan 16GB GDDR6 GPU 3. ASUS ROG Strix X870-A Gaming WiFi Motherboard 4. G Skill Trident Z5 RGB 64GB DDR5 Memory 5. Samsung 990 Pro 2TB Storage 6. ENERMAX PlatiGemini 1200W Power Supply 7. ARCTIC Liquid Freezer III Cooling. Any feedback on these choices would be greatly appreciated!

You might want to consider switching to a cheaper motherboard, 32GB of RAM instead of 64GB, and a standard SSD. Using a standard air cooler instead of that AIO could save you some cash, which you can then put towards a better GPU. Based on some player feedback, it's recommended due to the poor optimization of BL4.
Honestly, you're spending too much on RGB RAM and that power supply is way overkill. An 850W PSU would probably be more than enough. Don’t get too excited about how smooth it’ll run; it’s known to be pretty badly optimized on PC, regardless of your setup.
I've heard it might take a while to patch the issues, so I'm thinking about waiting for updates before I build.
I just played BL4 for 20 hours on a solid setup and it still didn't run that great. Expect around 60-70 fps at best, even with some of the settings toned down. It's strange because it doesn’t look wildly different from its predecessor, yet it demands way more from your hardware.
Sounds rough! Maybe I should just dive into a different game while waiting for fixes.

Which GPU do you suggest as a better option?
