If you're not looking for a flashy case, a micro ATX one can save you some cash. Consider an AMD 7700 processor; it's an 8-core powerhouse for around $180. A quality PSU around 750W should handle future upgrades well. Go with a good 2TB NVMe SSD since they're affordable now. When it comes to RAM, grab 2x 16GB sticks of DDR5 - that's all you’ll need for a decade! For GPU, maybe look for a used 4000 series like the 4080. You've got more than enough budget!
With your budget, I suggest going for a solid setup. Look for an AM5 motherboard and either a Ryzen 7800X or 7800X3D CPU. For graphics, AMD offers better value, so check out the RX 9070 XT if you can swing it. Just keep in mind you'll also need to think about RAM, storage, PSU, casing, and fans!
