Help Me Build My First Gaming PC

Hey everyone! I'm planning to build my first PC and could really use your advice. As a console gamer, I'm looking to switch over to PC mainly for gaming and possibly streaming on Twitch. I'd like to achieve 1440p gaming with 120fps, and maybe do some light work on the side. My budget is around 1500 euros, and I'd want to upgrade down the line. I mostly play shooters like COD and single-player RPGs. Here's the build I got from an AI tool:
- AMD Ryzen 5 7600X (6 cores/12 threads, 4.7-5.3 GHz) – €230
- Corsair iCUE H100i RGB Platinum SE (240 mm AIO) – €130
- MSI MAG B650 Tomahawk WiFi (DDR5, Wi-Fi 6E) – €150
- Corsair Vengeance RGB DDR5-6000, 32 GB (2x16 GB) – €120
- NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070, 12 GB GDDR6X – €700
- WD Black SN770 NVMe M.2 1 TB – €85
- Phanteks Eclipse P400A Digital Case – €80
- Corsair TX750M 750 W PSU – €90
Are there any changes you would suggest? Anything I'm missing?

I’d skip the AI recommendations and use PCPartPicker instead. I think you can fit a 7800X3D and a 5070 Ti within your budget, which would be a nice boost for gaming. A good balance of price and performance!

I suggest changing the cooler since the Corsair one seems overkill for the Ryzen 5. Consider something like the DeepCool AK620; it’ll save you some money. And if you can, look for a Radeon RX 9070 XT; it's generally better than the 4070 and can usually be found for less than €650. Lastly, I’d recommend a fully modular PSU—it makes your first build way easier to manage with cables.

First off, you should definitely check local prices to make sure you're getting good deals. The Ryzen 7600X is solid, but I would recommend looking at the 9600X since sometimes it's cheaper. Also, you might want to swap that AIO cooler for a good air cooler like the Thermalright Peerless Assassin; it's usually about €40 and works great! I suspect you may be overspending on RAM for the RGB flashiness—functionality is key here. And definitely compare prices for the RTX 5070 and 9070, as the 4070 can sometimes be overpriced. Your PSU is good, though!

Thanks for the tips, everyone! After doing some deeper research, I tweaked my build a bit. I sourced some new components, but I'm slightly over budget now. Here’s what I’m considering:
1. ASRock Radeon RX 9070 XT 16GB – €719
2. AMD Ryzen 7 9700X – €309
3. DeepCool AG620 CPU cooler – €63.85
4. ASRock B850M Steel Legend WiFi motherboard – €179.90
5. Corsair DDR5 Vengeance RGB 2x16GB 6400 – €122.90
6. Kingston NV3 2TB M.2 SSD – €111.90
7. MSI MAG A850GL PSU – €119
8. Thermaltake View 380 TG ARGB Case – €119
What do you guys think? Is this better?

Your updated build looks solid! Just a heads up, the differences between the 9070 and 9070 XT are minimal, but definitely opt for the XT. As for CPUs, check out the 7600X3D or 9600X3D; they're faster. You’ll want to ensure your RAM is fast enough if you choose a non-X3D chip. Also, don't forget that a wired connection is better for online gaming.

Regarding your case choice, the size could be an issue. Make sure you have enough airflow! And I'd also suggest thinking about your SSD setup: it’s smart to split for Windows and gaming to keep things smoother.
