I'm planning to build my first PC using a 9800X3D processor. I've already got a GPU and an SSD with an HDD, but I'm unsure about which motherboard and cooler (or AIO) to choose. I'm worried about making mistakes, especially since I want to keep my budget around $1400 for the remaining parts. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Considering you're playing CPU-intensive games like CS, price out the motherboards and coolers beforehand. They'll significantly affect your build's performance!

It would help if you listed the exact parts you already own—knowing what you have can give us a better idea of what you'll need!

Honestly, you might be overthinking it a bit. You don't necessarily need an AIO cooler, and it's definitely possible to stay within budget. Just look for a good air cooler and it should do the trick!

My setup uses a ThermalRight Phantom Sprint 120 SE, which was only $36 on Amazon and works great.

I think the budget of $1400 is for the parts you still need, rather than the total setup, right?
