I'm upgrading my PC for the first time and need a CPU cooler for my new Ryzen 7 5800X since it doesn't come with one. I'm not sure what to look for or where to start, and my searches haven't been very helpful. I have a budget of €50. Any recommendations?

I have the same CPU, and I use an Arctic Freezer 36 Duo. My temperatures stay around 50-55°C under load and 30-35°C while idling. It’s been great for me!

I found this cooler on Amazon that might interest you: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DP23NF7T. Make sure to do some research on prices and reviews to find the best performance for your budget.

It really depends on where you live, but the Thermalright Peerless Assassin or the Phantom Spirit are both excellent choices. Just keep in mind that they can be hard to find in some places in Europe. If those aren’t available, consider the be quiet! Pure Rock Pro 3 or its LX version, which also perform well. Another solid option is Deepcool's AK620.

I'd recommend the Peerless Assassin 140, ID Cooling A720, or Phantom Spirit. You could also check out Peerless Assassin 120 or ID Cooling A620 as alternatives. Just be sure to verify compatibility with your case size since these coolers can be quite big.

You should definitely check out reviews before making a decision. There are some great tests online, like in this video: https://youtu.be/khiGzg8J40s. Look for price-to-performance ratios, and compare options available locally to find the best deal.
