I'm looking for some advice on whether I should upgrade my current GPU from an RTX 5060 Ti to either an RTX 5070 Ti or an RX 9070 XT. Specifically, I want to know which of these options would work better with my existing setup. Just to give you some context, I have 32 GB of DDR5 RAM running at 6000MHz CL30, a Ryzen 7 9700X CPU, and I'm using an ASUS TUF B650 motherboard, all powered by a 750W beQuiet PSU. Thanks for your help!

Well, ignoring the fact that you've got a decent GPU already, I'd say going with the 5070 Ti would be easier since you're already using Nvidia. But if you're looking for performance with a decent price point, the 9070 XT is a great choice. So really, it depends on whether you prefer Nvidia's features or a more cost-effective AMD solution.

Yeah, I get those points, but I’m trying to figure out which GPU would work better with my current CPU.

Honestly, I'm curious why you're looking to upgrade from the 5060 Ti since it's still a solid card. But if you're set on switching, the choice might come down to price. If the price difference between the two is around $100, I think the 5070 Ti might not be worth it, especially since you’d miss out on DLSS with the 9070 XT. FSR4 is decent, but it doesn't have the same level of support as DLSS. Just a heads up, if you do switch to AMD, be prepared to potentially reinstall Windows to avoid driver issues.

I agree with you on that.

I want to future-proof myself even more. Right now, I'm playing BF6 but it's not running as smoothly as I expected.

Honestly, the 5060 Ti is still doing fine; you might not need an upgrade at all. With the right settings, you'd probably feel minimal difference unless you're pushing higher resolutions.

At 1440p, I’m playing, and the 5070 Ti is reportedly 30-40% better. What do you mean I won't feel it?
