Hey everyone! I'm in the market for a new graphics card since my last one, the RX6600 from PowerColor, unfortunately burnt out. I've been relying on integrated graphics, but it's really limiting my gaming experience. I've got a budget of around $650 USD (converted from Colombian Pesos). Currently, I'm using a 1080p monitor, but I might upgrade to 1440p in the future. I enjoy story-driven games like The Last of Us and Red Dead Redemption 2. The RX7800XT has caught my attention, but I've also seen a lot of buzz about the new 9060XT 16GB being better for longevity. I'm torn between the two! Any recommendations?

Honestly, neither seems like a fantastic deal right now. But if you're mostly playing at 1080p, the 9060XT should work fine. If you plan to jump to 1440p, the 7800XT might be the safer option even though it's pricier.
Make sure your power supply can handle either card. The RX7800XT needs at least 700W, while the 9060XT requires a minimum of 450-500W. Looks like you’re good with your Corsair RM850X!
I planned for an overkill PSU since I always wanted a high-end GPU!
If you're focused on 1080p gaming, the 9060XT is totally sufficient. But if you think you might want better performance for 1440p, the 7800XT with its extra power could be worth it, even with the extra cost.
Yeah, that price difference really makes me think about it.
If the price difference is in your favor, I'd say go for the 9060XT. It’s about $145 cheaper, which could save you a lot if you’re on a tight budget.
That's good to know! So the 9060XT could fit my needs without breaking the bank.
What other GPUs do you recommend if these two aren’t great?
