I'm trying to decide between two GPUs for my new build: the AMD B580 and the Nvidia RTX 5060. My budget is around $300. I understand that AMD is often recommended for gaming, but I'm also going to use this PC for productivity tasks. I'm curious if AMD GPUs really are as problematic as some say, or if that's just a myth. Which one should I go for?

From what I've seen, AMD GPUs have a great price-to-performance ratio, especially for gaming. However, keep in mind that the RTX 5060 might offer better ray tracing capabilities, even with lower VRAM. If productivity is important, the Nvidia card could be a solid choice.

True! But don't underestimate AMD's performance. They can get quite good over time with driver updates.

If you're gaming at 1080p, the B580 could be a better fit for you. It's known for its value in that resolution. But remember, we haven't seen detailed reviews of the RTX 5060 yet, so it's hard to say how it stacks up just now.

Exactly! Stick with the B580 if you're looking for proven performance right now.
