I'm struggling to decide between two different PC builds that suit my needs for local AI inference and gaming. I'm looking for something that has longevity and won't require constant upgrades. My budget is around $1500, so I'd appreciate any thoughts or opinions on these options:

(A) - Build it myself with new parts for approximately $1500:
- CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 7600X3D
- GPU: 5070 Ti 16 GB
- Memory: 1 x 16 GB DDR5-6000 CL36
- Additional components include MSI B850 GAMING PRO WIFI6E motherboard, 2 TB M.2-2280 PCIe 4.0 X4 NVMe storage, Antec C8 ATX Full Tower case, and MSI MPG A1000GS PCIE5 1000 W power supply.

(B) - Purchase a used rig for $1500:
- CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D
- GPU: 4070 Ti Super 16 GB
- Memory: 32 GB DDR5-6000MHz Kingston (presumably 2x16)
- It comes with an unknown motherboard, 1 TB WD M.2 NVMe SSD, NZXT H7 Flow Mesh case, and a High Power 750W Gen 5 PSU.

I think option A is the better choice! Although it has a slightly weaker CPU, the GPU is more powerful, which is great for AAA gaming. For AI tasks, the faster memory and stronger tensor cores on A will give you an edge, but keep in mind that using 16GB of RAM can limit you in heavy inference tasks. Still, it offers better quality components for future upgrades since they come with a warranty. You might even consider downgrading a few parts, like going for a cheaper motherboard or case to save costs and fit in 32GB of RAM if possible.

I'd definitely go with A! The 5070 Ti offers better performance compared to the 4070 Ti Super. Just make sure to consider the memory limitations with only 16GB, especially for AI applications.

A for sure, but keep in mind the RAM balance. If you can get by adding more RAM later on, you’ll be set for both gaming and AI. Plus, you're starting fresh with new components and a warranty!
