Hey everyone! I'm 17 and new to building PCs, but I'm excited to get started. I've gathered a few parts that fit my budget, and I need your help to figure out if they're compatible and if I should add or change anything. Here's what I've picked out so far:

* **Motherboard**: ASUS PRIME B550M-K ARGB AM4 ATX Desktop Motherboard - $129
* **Graphics Card**: fb marketplace - $100
* **RAM / Memory**: I mistakenly included a PSU instead - [MSI MAG A650BN - 650W Bronze ATX PSU](https://www.ple.com.au/products/661838/msi-mag-a650bn-650w-bronze-atx-psu) - $75
* **SSD**: [Crucial E100 PCIe Gen4 NVMe M.2 SSD - 1TB](https://www.ple.com.au/Products/672867/) - $179
* **CPU**: [AMD Ryzen 5 5600X 6 Core 12 Thread Up To 4.6Ghz AM4 - With Wraith Stealth Cooler](https://www.amazon.com.au/AMD-Ryzen-5-5600X/dp/B08166SLDF) - $139
* **Monitor**: Acer Nitro KG241YX1 - 23.8" 1080p 200Hz IPS Gaming Monitor - $119 (PURCHASED)
* **Case**: [Geometric Future - Case & Cooler Bundle](https://www.ple.com.au/Products/682767/) - $209
* **Keyboard**: [E-Yooso Creamy Mechanical Keyboard Wired](https://www.amazon.com.au/HUO-JI-Mechanical-Swappable-Pre-lubed/dp/B0D3LPNN9N) - $80
* **Mouse**: [Fantech VENOM II WGC2 Wireless Gaming Mouse - Pink](https://www.ple.com.au/products/663314/) - $25
* **Speaker**: [Redragon GS560 Adiemus RGB Desktop Soundbar](https://www.amazon.com.au/Redragon-Soundbar-Computer-Audio-Light-Touch-Control/dp/B08X6LYPHK) - $55.20

My budget is between $1,000 and $1,500 AUD, and I'm just looking to play games like Overwatch, Fortnite, and Genshin Impact. I really appreciate any advice you can give!

I think you might want to reconsider your GPU choice. It's often seen as a critical component for performance, so don't skimp on it. Aim for at least a 12GB GPU if you can swing it!

Thanks for the advice! What GPU would you recommend?

Check out pcpartpicker.com! It’s a lifesaver for ensuring your parts are compatible and finding the best deals. You might need to splurge a bit more on the GPU, as $100 AUD won't buy you much, even secondhand.

I totally get that! I'll definitely check that site out for pricing.

I wouldn't go with an unknown brand for your keyboard; it might require dodgy software to function. Consider something with VIA support. For motherboard, I'd suggest alternatives like MSI B550M Pro-VDH WiFi or Gigabyte B550M DS3H.

You don’t actually have RAM listed; that PSU link you shared is not RAM. Also, I think your case is a bit overpriced. You can find decent cases for cheaper that look great!

The case includes a CPU cooler, which I thought was a good deal. Do I need to get a new PSU? And what RAM would you suggest? I'm planning to get the **XFX Speedster Radeon RX 6500XT 4GB** for the GPU.

Just a heads up about compatibility: make sure your motherboard BIOS is up-to-date for the CPU to work. Sometimes they require an update right out of the box. Other than that, your parts seem like a solid start!
