Hey everyone! I'm gearing up to build a new computer and I need some help confirming my parts selection. I'm on the fence about my RAM choice—should I go for 32GB or 64GB? For the 64GB option, I've picked 6000MHz CL30, which I hear is recommended for AMD systems, but my friend suggested 6400MHz CL32. For the 32GB option, I chose 6400MHz CL32. Here's the rest of my build:
CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D
Motherboard: ASUS ROG CROSSHAIR X870E HERO
Graphics Card: ASUS RTX 5080 ROG ASTRAL OC 16GB
CPU Cooling: TRYX Panorama SE 360 ARGB
RAM: G. Skill Trident Z5 Royal Neo RGB DDR5 (64GB - 6400MHz CL32 or 6000MHz CL30) or 32GB 6400MHz CL32
PSU: ASUS ROG Thor 1000W Platinum II
Main SSD: Samsung 990 PRO 2TB PCIe 4.0 NVMe
Additional SSD: Samsung 970 EVO Plus SSD 2TB PCIe 3.0 NVMe M.2, plus another 500GB SSD for Windows.
Case: Hyte Y70 Touch
I'd really appreciate any advice or corrections on my choices! I'm not a pro at this, so your guidance would mean a lot!

For gaming, 32GB at 6000MHz CL30 is usually the sweet spot. However, since you're going with high-end parts, 64GB could be worth it especially if you want to future-proof your build. Just keep in mind that the 5080 is a solid choice right now, and you can save some cash by picking slightly less expensive components that still perform well. Think about your budget!
I'm mainly using it for gaming too, so I'm also leaning towards the 5080 since the 5090 is just too pricey for me at the moment. But I want to make sure I’m getting the best performance within my budget, hence why I’m asking around!
