Help me surprise my fiancé with a graphics card!

Hey everyone! My fiancé's graphics card is on its last legs (he's mentioned it's displaying weird pixels). I noticed he has a GTX 1070 in his system. He wants to upgrade, but keeps hesitating since the price tag is around $900. Honestly, he works long hours and really deserves this upgrade. I'm trying to find out what model he might want and if there are better options out there. I'm planning to buy something online tonight or hit up Best Buy tomorrow. Any recommendations?

It sounds like your fiancé might be eyeing the RTX 5070 Ti if he's thinking about spending around $900. When shopping, just grab the cheapest option you find; they all perform pretty similarly!

Awesome gift idea! He's going to love it!

Totally agree! Just double-check the power supply wattage before buying, just in case it needs an upgrade too.

He's likely looking at the RTX 5070 Ti or possibly the 9070 XT. If you can find the 5070 Ti, that would be a great fit!

Honestly, a jump from the GTX 1070 to the RTX 5070 Ti would be fantastic, but just double-check his other PC specs to ensure everything's compatible! You might also consider throwing in an SSD for a sweet upgrade.

Right? Just think about how smooth gaming would be with that!

If you're near a Micro Center, check there! Sometimes they have the 5070 Ti for around $750, which is a great deal.

Before you buy anything, try to see if you can get a peek at his full PC specs. Depending on those, you might need to upgrade other parts too! But it's super sweet of you to think of this—kudos!

I think if he's already considering spending that much on a GPU, he likely needs a full system upgrade.
