Hey everyone! I'm really into competitive gaming and I need some help with my current PC setup. My goal is to get high FPS to match my 240Hz monitor, but I've noticed that my system is struggling, even on low settings. I was thinking about upgrading my CPU, but I'm not sure if that's the best choice. Here's my current setup: I've got an AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D and I already own an RTX 3080, so please focus on upgrading the CPU unless you think I should switch out the graphics card. Thanks in advance for your advice!

Based on your current build, upgrading the CPU is definitely a good call. The Ryzen 7 7800X3D is a solid choice, but ensure you also have a good cooler to maximize performance. You could check out the Thermalright Phantom Spirit for great cooling without breaking the bank. If you keep the 3080, make sure your PSU is also capable of handling the whole setup. You might want to consider faster RAM if you haven't already!

You think these are the changes I should be making?
