I'm having a frustrating issue with my Acer laptop. The screen keeps flickering, and it's been happening on and off for the past year. Initially, I took it in for repairs a year ago, and it worked fine for a while. However, the flickering returned intermittently throughout the summer, and I ignored it since it didn't last long. In November, the problem resurfaced, and I had to take it in for repairs again. Unfortunately, less than a month later, the flickering happened once more. The repair shop can't replicate the issue when I bring it in. They check everything, clean the laptop, and send it back to me, but the problem persists. I've tried watching some tutorials, updating the driver, and changing settings, but nothing seems to fix it. I mainly use it for studying and don't put it under heavy load. I'm really starting to lose patience. Can anyone help me figure out what's going on?

It sounds super annoying! One thing you could try is to record your screen when the flickering happens. This way, you can show the repair shop what’s going on when you actually take it in. Sometimes, it may be a loose cable connection that they can't catch during their inspection. Have you noticed if the flickering occurs only at certain times or just randomly?
Definitely film it if you can! That might help the techs see what you're describing. Plus, consider checking the cable connections if you're comfortable with that. Sometimes, it could be a simple fix like a loose connection inside the laptop. Good luck!
