I tried to buy an app today and found out that my Apple account has been permanently deleted. I reached out to Apple, and they informed me that I violated their terms and conditions, but I have no idea which rule I broke. They also said that there's no way to restore my account. Has anyone experienced this before? Am I out of luck? Is there any possible way to appeal this situation?

Unfortunately, there isn't much you can do to appeal a permanent suspension. Normally, getting your Apple ID permanently suspended is due to serious violations such as failing identity checks, disputing charges, or having a bounced payment without settling. It's rare that someone is suspended without knowing what they did wrong. Most people who claim confusion usually have underlying issues.
I totally get that, but I honestly have no clue what happened. Just yesterday I bought a game without any problems!
I’ve received similar emails, but I never owned any Apple devices. Most of those are scams! Just steer clear of the links in those emails. My case is unique since I can’t use any Apple services now.
Yeah, those scams can be pretty convincing! But I'm dealing with a legitimate account issue.
You should definitely give Apple Support another shot. Also, consider if you've been using any questionable apps or shared passwords; someone might have accessed your account and caused this issue.
I admit I use shared passwords, but I was told Apple Support couldn't help me at all.
Can you confirm whether it's just your Apple account that's disabled, or is your entire iCloud account affected? Sometimes it can be just the purchasing part that's locked and not your whole account.
It's the whole iCloud account, which I noticed when I couldn't download anything from the App Store. Everything from Apple Music to Photos is affected, but my phone still works fine otherwise.

I was thinking it might have been my VPN that caused an issue?
