Help! My Boyfriend’s New RAM Is Causing Bootloop Issues

Hey everyone, I'm looking for some advice! My boyfriend recently upgraded his pre-built PC's RAM after about three years, but now we're facing a frustrating issue. Every time he installs the new RAM, the system goes into a bootloop that lasts anywhere from 15 to 30 minutes before it finally boots up normally. This happens every time we restart the PC, and we can't figure out how to resolve it.

Here are his specs:
- Product number: 90Q9007TUK
- BIOS version: O5FKT11A
- Processor: 11th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-11700KF @ 3.60GHz
- Storage: 2.7 TB
- Installed RAM: 64 GB (63.7 GB usable)

The new RAM is Corsair Vengeance RGB RS DDR4 (4x16GB 3600MHz), but for some reason, it's only showing up as 2133MHz. Any help, advice, or solutions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks for taking the time to read this 😊

Don't forget to check if the RAM is properly seated in the slots. Sometimes, if they aren't fully pushed in, it can cause boot issues. You might also want to try booting with just two sticks at a time to see if that helps isolate the problem. It could be a single bad stick causing the bootloops. Good luck!

Great point! I’ll try reseating the RAM and testing with fewer sticks as well. I appreciate your help!

First off, make sure all the RAM sticks are from the same kit. Mixing different RAM can sometimes cause compatibility issues, even if they're the same brand. Also, check your BIOS settings. Sometimes, you might need to manually set the RAM frequency to 3600MHz instead of letting it default to 2133MHz. Clearing the CMOS could also help reset any settings that might be causing the bootloop. Hope that helps!

Thanks for the tips! I can confirm that all the sticks are from the same kit, but I’ll definitely check the BIOS settings next. Keeping my fingers crossed!
