Help! My Cat Messed Up My Multi-Monitor Setup

Hey everyone! I have a setup with four monitors on my Windows 10 computer, but my cat decided to walk across my keyboard and now things are wonky. I can't drag any windows between the monitors, and I can only interact with one monitor at a time. For example, if monitor 2 is the active one, I can't click on anything on monitors 1, 3, or 4. They're still showing different windows and the mouse moves across all of them, but it feels like I'm stuck with just one active monitor. I'm guessing my cat must've hit some shortcut keys that changed a setting or mode I don't know about. How can I fix this?

Oh man, sounds like your cat knows how to cause some chaos! Mine has done similar things before, usually leading to me rebooting my whole setup after messing it up. At least now you've got stories to tell!

First, try holding down the Windows key and the P key at the same time. This should bring up a menu where you can select 'Extend' to get your monitors working properly again. Good luck!

Just a heads up, my setup can get tricky too! If yours are separated by distance, make sure they’re all set to extend; that can sometimes mess things up.

You could always ask 'CatGPT' for tips on this! But seriously, check the keyboard shortcuts for sticky keys or display settings just in case. Good luck!
