I recently updated my phone to iOS 18, and since then, I've completely lost my cellular connection. While my Wi-Fi works just fine, I can't turn on my mobile data, calls keep failing, and my messages won't send. I've already tried restarting my network settings and even the old airplane mode trick, but nothing's worked. I'm considering doing a full reboot of my phone. Before I take that step, can anyone share if rebooting fixed their network issues? I'm really hesitant since I don't want to lose everything on my phone for nothing.

You really should try turning your phone off completely. It's a simple step that can sometimes do wonders. Just make sure you remember your Lock Screen code before you do! It’s a hassle, but it might be worth it if it helps.
I faced a similar issue once. It turned out that a VPN I was using had accidentally installed itself twice, which messed with my connection. If you're using a VPN, try uninstalling it and see if that solves the problem.
If you're having network issues after the update, it might not be the iOS itself causing it. Have you thought about taking your phone into an Apple Store? They can check it out for you since iOS 18 has been out for a while now, and this shouldn’t be an ongoing problem.
