Last night, while I was gaming, my computer suddenly started spamming the letters 'C' and 'V' nonstop. I was confused, so I unplugged my keyboard thinking it might be the problem, but the spamming continued. The Windows menu became unresponsive because of the spam, forcing me to repeatedly hit Alt + F4 until I could shut down my PC. I've scanned for malware with Malwarebytes multiple times, so I'm not convinced this is a virus issue. This has happened twice now, and while I initially dismissed the first occurrence as a minor glitch, the repetition with the same letters is concerning. I'm looking for advice on how to fix this problem.

Do you have a game controller connected? Sometimes those can mess with your keyboard inputs if a button is being pressed down. Check that out!
Sounds a bit odd! If it’s constantly spamming those letters, check if your keyboard might just be stuck. If it’s a mechanical keyboard, maybe try cleaning it or swapping out some switches. You could also test it with another device to see if it’s a keyboard issue or something with your PC.
I hear you about weird keyboard issues! My laptop's keyboard went bad too. It’s frustrating when even new devices have such issues. Hopefully, it’s an easy fix for you!
Definitely try using a different keyboard to see if that solves the problem. Cleaning your keyboard is always a good idea too, regardless of whether it’s mechanical or membrane!
If it's a laptop, it might be a hardware issue that requires a whole keyboard replacement. Desktops might just need a new keyboard.
