I left my computer on my desk while I stepped out, and when I returned, it wouldn't power on at all—no lights or fans. At first, I thought it might be a power issue, but everything else plugged into the same outlet was working. When I asked my girlfriend what happened, she mentioned that she tried to tidy up my desk and noticed a lot of dust around the vents. Wanting to help out, she used the vacuum cleaner hose to clean the dust, getting pretty close to the vents. Now, it's completely unresponsive. I'm worried the vacuum might have caused a static discharge or caused the fans to spin too fast, leading to some internal damage. My system specs are an RTX 5070ti, i9-12900k, 64GB RAM, and three 2TB Samsung Pro 990 M.2 SSDs. I'm really upset and need advice on what to do next.

First, double-check that all the cables are still connected properly and make sure the power supply switch is turned on. If static damage has occurred, you'll need to test individual components to isolate what might be broken.
I'd be surprised if there’s actual damage. Unplug it, clear the CMOS—though note this resets your BIOS settings, so you'll have to reconfigure things like the XMP profile. Sometimes you need to do this a couple of times before the system responds.
Have you tried unplugging the computer from the wall for about ten minutes? Then plug it back in and see if it turns on? It’s a simple step that might help.
Just for fun, try turning off the PSU and leaving it for about ten seconds before switching it back on and trying to power the PC again. Sometimes a little reset can work wonders.
In theory, overspinning the fans could generate voltage that damages your motherboard, but it doesn't happen often. When you say it won’t power on at all, do you mean there’s no response when you press the power button, or does it turn on but no display appears?
