Help! My CPU is Overheating Suddenly

I built my girlfriend's PC about four years ago, and she hasn't had any issues until now. Recently, her CPU (Ryzen 3700x) started overheating unexpectedly. I checked the BIOS, and the temperatures shoot up from around 35°C to 80°C within minutes. The CPU fan seems to be working fine, and supposedly the AIO cooler is functional too, so I don't think anything's become unplugged. Any suggestions on what might be causing this? I'm considering remounting the AIO, but it feels strange for that to be the issue out of nowhere. She mentioned that the overheating started after she had to move the PC a bit to reorganize some USB cables, but she didn't bump it hard enough to think it would cause a problem.

Have you tried feeling the AIO tubes for hot and cold fluid? The pump might be broken or clogged, which would explain the overheating.

I second that! It definitely sounds like the pump is dead.

Would the BIOS still show the AIO is working if it's broken? I'm curious because the BIOS indicates it's functional, but I wonder if it senses that or just assumes it's good since it's connected.
