I've had my PC for about 5 years with only one issue (a corrupted HDD), but recently while playing Five M on GTA V, my fans went crazy loud. My brother helped me out by completely disassembling my PC, cleaning it, and reassembling everything, even changing the thermal paste. Now my PC is super slow and my CPU is stuck at a constant 100 degrees Celsius. I can't do anything, especially not play games. What could be causing this? Should I just take it somewhere to be checked out?

Do you have an AIO cooler? If so, it’s likely that the pump has failed. That could definitely lead to your CPU overheating like this.
Just to double-check, did your brother apply the new thermal paste after cleaning, or did he just put everything back? Sometimes that can be the issue.
He put the paste on after cleaning, so that should be fine.
