I've got a Dell Latitude E6430 that has been working fine until now. It hasn't been used for a few months, and when I try to power it on, the fan makes noise and it seems like it's starting up, but the screen stays blank. After a few seconds, it just shuts off completely. I've tried doing a hard reset, but no luck. It's running Windows 11, in case that's relevant. Any ideas on how to fix this?

You might also want to check the Memory Module. Try removing it and putting it back in to ensure it’s seated properly. This could solve your issue if the memory connection is what’s causing the laptop not to boot.
First, try removing the battery and unplugging the laptop. After that, hold down the power button for around 60 seconds. This can help clear any static buildup that might be causing issues. Just keep in mind that if it's an older model, sometimes it can be a malfunctioning component that could mean it needs professional repair.
Another option is to see if it will start without the battery. Just plug it in and try to power it on. If it works, your battery might be the culprit since older batteries can fail and prevent the laptop from starting up even when connected.
