I'm really stuck right now because my Enter, Backspace, and Apostrophe keys stopped working out of the blue yesterday evening. I'm currently on a Vivobook ASUS laptop running Windows 11. I've already tried two system restores; the first one seemed to work temporarily, but then the problem came back. During the second restore, I couldn't even use the keys at setup. Afterward, I noticed the Delete key struggled for a bit before failing too. I've disabled Sticky Keys and messed with other settings, and I also uninstalled and reinstalled the keyboard driver from Device Management. Initially, I thought it was a hardware issue, but now I'm not so sure. I can still use the number pad for Enter and Delete, but I'm worried that won't last. Any advice on what might be going on?

It really sounds like it might be a hardware issue with your keyboard. Sometimes, the wiring inside gets damaged or shorted, which can cause multiple keys to stop working. System restores and driver tweaks aren't going to fix that. You might need to consider replacing the keyboard. Good luck!
Before jumping to a replacement, it could be worth checking if something got spilled on the keyboard or if there's dirt stuck underneath the keys. If it’s just sticky or dirty, a good cleaning might help! Otherwise, yeah, you might sadly be looking at a new keyboard.
Yeah, it's really annoying when keyboard issues pop up like this. Just curious, how do you think this happened? I mean, I can’t see any light issues under the keys either. Hang in there though; it’s a frustrating situation for sure!
