Hey everyone! I've got a 750 GB external HDD that's causing me some headaches. When I connect it to my laptop, it doesn't show up in File Explorer, but it does appear in Disk Management as unallocated. I tried using some third-party data recovery software, but it gets stuck at around 2-5% and I can't retrieve my files. Is there any way to recover my data? Any suggestions?

Honestly, trying to recover data from a failing drive can be tricky. It might be best to create a complete image of the drive before any recovery attempts. If the data is important, consider sending it to a professional data recovery service.
You could try using different data recovery software, especially ones that aren’t free, if that’s an option. Also, think about taking it to a local data recovery shop, depending on how much you value the data.
Do you know of any good paid software? I really don’t want to waste money on something that won’t help.
