Help! My Gaming PC Crashes Randomly – Frustrated and Need Solutions

I've been dealing with my gaming PC crashing shortly after start-up or during intense gaming sessions for the past couple of weeks. It's really frustrating! I've had to restart it around 20 times now. The issues started about two weeks ago, and it seems to crash every other day. Here's a quick rundown of my specs: I'm on Windows 11, using an RTX 3070 Zotac Gaming card, with 32GB of RAM. The first crash occurred when I installed the Steam edition of Baldur's Gate 3. Before that, I had no problems using a different version of the game. Now, the crashes happen even when I'm not actively gaming. I usually notice audio glitches first, then the input freezes up, and finally, the computer crashes. Sometimes, I get a diagnostic prompt upon start-up, but it doesn't lead to any solutions, and I have to restart it manually. After restarting, I often see glitches right at the login screen or shortly afterward. Additionally, I've found that when I try to play League of Legends, the Vanguard anti-cheat software acts up and tells me to restart, which seems to be a warning that a crash is about to happen. For the last 10 minutes, thankfully, it's been stable, but I really need to sort this out as I've got a lot of work to do today!

It sounds like your PC might be overheating or possibly having hardware issues. Start by cleaning out any dust from your PC, especially from the fans and vents. A can of air spray can help you get rid of that dust. Overheating can definitely cause crashes like the ones you're experiencing, so keeping things clean can make a big difference!

Seriously? Why does cleaning help? I'm not really tech-savvy, so could you explain this a bit more?
