Hey everyone, I'm really struggling with my gaming PC lately and I need some help! For the past few months, I've been experiencing some major issues: my games keep freezing and crashing, Steam randomly closes, and sometimes it won't even start. Plus, when I try to type, the screen goes black like it's trying to load something but it just doesn't. I've already replaced my GPU and CPU, and I've even reset my PC to see if it was a virus. Here are my specs: CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 5900X, GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060, Motherboard: B450 TOMAHAWK MAX II, and PSU: Smart 600 watt. Do you think this could be a problem with Steam, or is there something else I should check?

It sounds pretty frustrating! Since it's been happening for a few months, let's try to narrow it down. Have you checked the temperatures of your CPU and GPU? Overheating can cause crashes. Also, it might be worth looking into your drivers—make sure they’re up to date. Sometimes, a clean install of the GPU drivers helps too. Let us know how it goes!
I had a similar issue, and it turned out to be a faulty power supply. Your PSU seems a bit on the lower side for a high-performance setup. If you have the opportunity, try testing it with a higher wattage PSU to see if that solves the problem.
Thanks for the suggestion! I'll look into testing a different PSU.
Yeah, also check your event viewer in Windows for any error reports when the crashes happen. It could give you some clues.
