Help! My GPU Won’t Fit in My Case

I've got an MSI Ventus 3X 5070, and it seems like it's getting blocked in my Phanteks P360A case. I thought the case supported GPUs up to 400mm, and my card is around 300mm, so I expected it to fit. What should I do about this issue?

What's the model of your case? That might help narrow it down. If it’s the Phanteks P360A, then it should fit, but it sounds like your GPU might be getting caught on something. Double-check to make sure it's fully seated in the PCIe slot—sometimes that’s the issue. If it’s still a no-go, you might need to look at other options.

Yeah, it is the P360A. I thought it should fit too, but it seems like something’s off.

Sounds like you might have to get a bit creative. Do you have tools like a Dremel or a metal drill? Some folks go that route when their GPU is too tight for the case. Just make sure whatever you do, you keep proper airflow in mind, especially if you’re moving the GPU around.

I've heard of that kind of issue before. Just to be sure, did you check if the PCIe slot is clear and not blocked by anything? Sometimes cases can have some weird spots that prevent proper installation. If it is seated correctly but it’s still tight, you might really want to consider that riser option.

Thanks for the tips! I’ll check the PCIe slot again just to be safe.

That sucks! So, your GPU is around 300mm, right? It’s technically within spec for your case, but sometimes the design can cause weird fitting issues. You could try bending or cutting some metal if you're okay with that. Alternatively, if it’ll help, consider getting a riser cable to mount it outside the case for better airflow!
