Hey everyone! I'm having some trouble with my friend's HP Victus laptop (it's got an RTX 3050). He mentioned that the screen flickers randomly, and this has been happening for about five days now. For instance, it might flicker for a few hours and then be fine for several hours after that. Just yesterday, it was glitching from noon until 8 PM, but then it worked perfectly fine overnight. I even checked the display connector by removing the back panel, and it seemed to be properly connected. It doesn't look like the display is damaged since it works great at 144Hz, but the flickering just comes and goes. Do you guys think it's a hardware issue? I'd really appreciate any advice! Oh, and here's a link to a clip showing the issue: [https://youtu.be/c0qJk36Zn3I](https://youtu.be/c0qJk36Zn3I)

It sounds like it might be the display ribbon causing the flickering. Have you tried using an external monitor? That might help pinpoint if the problem is with the laptop's display or something else.
Yeah, my friend said there was no issue on the external monitor, so maybe the display panel itself is the culprit.
