Help! My iPhone is Stuck in a Boot Loop After Downgrading from iOS 26

I recently downloaded the iOS 26 beta (I know, not my best move) and I'm trying to go back to version 18.5. I followed a tutorial to downgrade, but when I got to step 9, it didn't work as expected, so I manually selected 'restore from backup' in Finder. Now my iPhone is stuck in an infinite restore loop and it won't even show up in Finder. What can I do to fix this?

You might want to check out Apple's official guide for restoring. They often have detailed steps that can help with your situation. Here's the link: beta.apple.com/restore. It might have solutions to get your phone out of that boot loop!

Thanks for the suggestion, but I can't do anything on the phone! It literally doesn't show up in Finder.

This forum isn't really the right place for iOS beta issues. You might have better luck in the iOS Beta subreddit where folks discuss those specific problems.

Yeah, if you're having ongoing issues, try reaching out to Apple Support directly or visiting a local Apple store. They might be able to resolve the restore loop for you.
