I'm having a frustrating issue where my keyboard and mouse have suddenly stopped working properly on my Windows 11 PC. I've ruled out hardware problems since I've tried multiple keyboards. The only keys that respond are the spacebar, delete, and enter, but even those aren't reliable. The on-screen keyboard works for a bit but fails when I switch to using the physical keyboard. Additionally, the scroll wheel on my mouse isn't functioning at all. I can't even boot into safe mode because it doesn't recognize the F12 key. I've already powered down everything and unplugged all devices. What should I do next? Is a fresh Windows installation my only option?

Just a heads up, before making any drastic changes like a fresh installation, double-check your BIOS settings and make sure there's nothing odd there. You should also always verify your data backups before making significant changes to your system.
Have you tried plugging the keyboard and mouse into different USB ports? Sometimes the front ports can be finicky since they connect to the motherboard through cables, while the back ports are usually soldered directly. It might help to see if that resolves the issue.
