I'm having a frustrating issue with my laptop where it keeps shutting down whenever I try to open games or any large applications, even simple ones like Task Manager which spikes the CPU usage to 80%. I suspect it might be related to a hardware problem or perhaps just a lack of regular maintenance. I've attempted some optimizations on the CPU, run multiple antivirus scans, and even did a clean boot. Additionally, I'm looking for advice on how to find trustworthy computer maintenance services—any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

It doesn't seem like a hardware issue. If there was something wrong with the CPU, you would usually get some type of error message. The same goes for the SSD/HDD or RAM; your laptop wouldn’t even turn on if those were faulty. Unfortunately, malware could be causing this. You should really consider doing a system reset—it might help get rid of any stubborn malware lurking around.
Make sure your fans are functioning properly. If you have a water cooler, check that as well. Overheating can definitely cause crashes!
Sometimes, Windows just gets bogged down with internal issues. A full wipe and reload might be what's needed here. It's a hassle but could fix your problems in the long run.
When you say wipe and reload, do you mean like a factory reset?

I’ve heard that it also runs at 80°C while idling, so it might be time for some maintenance!
