Help! My Laptop Isn’t Filling the TV Screen When Streaming

I'm trying to stream some games from my laptop to my TV, specifically Jackbox, but the resolution is off and my laptop screen doesn't fill the entire TV display. I'm connecting using an HDMI cable, and everything else is working fine, but I can't figure out how to resolve this resolution issue. I'd really appreciate any guidance on how to fix this!

If you're currently duplicating your display, try extending the screen instead. That might give you better control over how it displays on your TV.

It sounds like you might be dealing with a scaling setting in your display options. What's the model of your TV? Are you cloning your laptop's screen to the TV? Also, what resolution are you running your laptop at? It could be that adjusting these settings might help your issue.

Make sure to check your display settings after you connect with HDMI. You should see another display option appear. You might need to adjust the resolution there.
