Help! My Laptop Keyboard Stopped Working

I recently got a Lenovo laptop for my studies, and I've run into a major issue with the keyboard. On the first day, only the number keys were acting up and typing symbols instead of numbers due to what I believe was a sticky keys issue. After some fiddling, I managed to fix that. But the very next day, the situation got worse—the entire keyboard stopped functioning properly. Keys like backspace, enter, and shift just wouldn't work at all, and the few keys that did function typed out random characters (like the X key typing three instead). It's super frustrating because I desperately need this laptop for my studies, and right now, the only thing I can use is the touch pad!

It sounds like your keyboard might be malfunctioning, possibly due to a spill or some physical issue. Until you can get it replaced—since laptop keyboards can be tricky to remove—try using a USB keyboard. It'll let you get some work done while you figure this out! Also, if you received the laptop from someone, it could be worth checking if they had any issues with it before you.

That's a good idea! I actually went ahead and tried a USB keyboard, and it worked fine. But it’s weird because the laptop was functioning well just yesterday. Do you think it could still be a software glitch?
