Hey everyone, I was using my HP Omen 16 laptop today when the screen suddenly froze. I tried fixing it by restarting with the power button, but now the screen is completely black. I can hear the startup sounds and the fans running intermittently, but nothing shows up on the screen. This isn't the first time something like this has happened; I had a similar issue before where I could at least see some light on the black screen and could access recovery mode to restart it. However, I'm not sure why it's not working this time. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Have you tried connecting your laptop to an external display, like a monitor or TV? It could help determine if the issue is with the laptop screen itself or something deeper. Sometimes, just switching to another screen can give you access to your laptop's interface. Let me know if you try it!
Yeah, I do have a TV I can use. I'm going to give that a shot and see what happens!
