Help! My Laptop Won’t Connect to WiFi After Reset

I'm having a tough time with my laptop. It won't connect to the internet at all, and despite following several tutorials, nothing seems to work. Out of desperation, I factory reset the laptop, hoping it would fix the issue. Now I'm stuck at the Windows setup screen where I need to connect to WiFi, but it still won't connect. I'm not tech-savvy at all, and as a broke student, I really don't want to pay someone to fix it. Can anyone help me? Let me know if you need more details!

First, you'll want to determine whether the problem is hardware or software. It could be a dead Wi-Fi card or just a driver issue. I suggest finding someone else's computer to create a bootable USB with a live OS like Ubuntu. Boot your laptop from that USB and check if Wi-Fi works there. If it does, you’ll need to do a clean install of Windows. If it doesn’t work, your Wi-Fi card might be dead, and you could either replace it or get a USB Wi-Fi card, which is usually easier and cheaper.

That's odd! If your hotspot works but no other Wi-Fi networks do, you might want to check the drivers. Can you roll back your Wi-Fi driver from the Device Manager? I had a similar issue with my Lenovo laptop after a clean install, and rolling back to the default drivers fixed the connection.
