I shut down my ASUS Vivobook M515/X515 yesterday and when I tried to turn it on today, nothing happened. There's no power light at all, and when I plug in the charger, the charging light won't turn on either. I even held the power button for 90 seconds, but no luck. I really need to get it started today for something important. The laptop has a Ryzen 3 3240U processor, Radeon Vega 3 graphics, and 8GB of RAM. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

I had the same issue with my ASUS. You might want to try unplugging the charger from the wall for a few minutes and then plug it back in. Sometimes it just needs a reset to recognize the power source again.
If you're comfortable, you could try removing the battery. If it's faulty, that could be why you can't power it on. But if you're not tech-savvy, I understand that might be a last resort for you!
I don’t have much experience with this stuff, so that might be my last option.
You could also try holding the power button longer. One time I had to hold mine for about 5 minutes when it wouldn’t charge. It sounds annoying, but it might just be what it needs!
5 minutes? Wow, I hope it doesn’t take that long!
Have you tried doing a hard reboot? Just hold down the power button for about 10 seconds. Sometimes laptops get stuck in a weird hibernate mode and need a kick to wake up. If that doesn’t work, it might be something more serious with the battery or power supply, so keep that in mind.
Ok let me try that!
