I recently cleaned the fan on my laptop, and now when I try to reboot it, I get a message saying 'No bootable device found.' I'm not really sure what that means, but I can't access my laptop anymore. Can anyone help me figure out how to fix this?

You might have accidentally bumped a cable when you were cleaning. Double-check all the connectors inside to make sure they’re secure. Sometimes a simple re-seating of the cables can solve the issue.

It’s possible that something happened to the SSD or NVME drive that made it undetectable. If your drive isn't showing up in BIOS, it might be a sign that it got disconnected or damaged.

Just to clarify, when you mentioned cleaning the drive, how exactly did you do that? It's crucial to know if any sensitive components were affected. If this was your first time opening the laptop, it might help to backtrack a bit.

It sounds like your hard drive might not be seated properly. Check to make sure everything is connected and try to boot into the BIOS to see what's up with the boot order. That ‘No bootable device found’ message typically means your laptop can't find the operating system to boot from, likely Windows in your case.
