I need some advice here! I've been pushing my Acer Latitude 7390 to the limits by running The Sims with a ton of mods—yeah, I know I shouldn't be doing that, but times are tough! So, it was working fine until one day it crashed, showing a blue screen and then just shutting off. Now, it won't turn on at all. The caps lock light is blinking (the keyboard lights up) and the charging light is also flashing, showing four white flashes followed by two orange ones. I really hope my laptop isn't completely dead! Can anyone help me diagnose this?

Wait, did you just say Acer? I thought it was a Dell Latitude? If it’s truly an Acer, your problem could be linked to a corrupted Windows or a failed hard drive. Do you have access to another computer? You may need to create a bootable USB stick to try and install or repair Windows. That might be a good route to explore if you have an extra device around!
It sounds like you're facing a serious issue. Those flashing lights usually indicate a hardware problem. To start troubleshooting, see if you can access Windows normally or boot into Safe Mode. If you can, check for dump files in C:WindowsMinidump, which might give us more info on the blue screen. If you have any files there, zip them up and upload them so we can take a closer look. If you need a file sharing site, try catbox.moe or mediafire—those usually work without issues. Also, you might want to check that you're set to create small memory dumps for future crashes!
